Debut Short Story Out Now!
My debut short story, Among the Funeral Pyres, reimagines the 1821 assassination of Gregorios V, the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, carried out by the Ottoman Empire on Easter Sunday in an attempt to suppress the Greek Revolution. Written in the tradition of magical realism, the story brings history to life through a blend of reality and the fantastical.
